    On October 13, 2016, I ordered two cabinets from Overstock.com: • The part (Hinge Plates M-2) that allows the doors to be connected to the cabinet were missing for both of the cabinets. • There was a notification providing an email address to request missing parts, which I used detailing all information regarding the product and the name and number of the missing parts. • It took between 7-10 days to receive these parts, and when I opened the package, Metal Hinges (7/8”) w/Spring-M-1 had been sent, rather than the correct Hinge Plates M-2, needed to put the cabinets...     I ordered a sofa through overstock.com..My first time using them and apparently the last. They told me I would recieve and email within 1-10 days that my item has shipped. I never recieved an email. I called them and they said its because it was just shipped that day. They gave me a Pro# and the name of the shipping company.     I ordered a vanity sink and cabinet, spending over $700. My husband called to cancel it and was advised it COULD be cancelled, but they needed me to call and authorize it, because he had not been the one to order it. Ok, no problem....I called back (within 30 minutes)and was told it could not be cancelled as the order was already processed to ship.   • Poor Customer Service and Return Policy



    This review has been resolved or replied to by this company. I ordered a $9 item from Overstock.com - a gold ring. The ring shipped in less time than they indicated. Wonderful. I got the ring, and it was sized too small. On the very same day, I contacted Overstock.com by phone, and spoke to a customer service representative who attempted to provide me with customer service. However, he was stumbling to explain the policy to me. He first told me I could return the ring and have a new one sent to me for no charge.   • Dishonest Company



    I ordered a product from Overstock.com at a very low price. Considering their website advertises 80% off, I never once believed the offer could have been “too good to be true.” After ordering the product I called my friend and informed her of the awesome deal I had just gotten.   • why are they still in business?



    I have worked in high end retail for 30 years. The main reality is that making the consumer happy is overall more important then making a sale vs. return. O .com is not a sale store or low cost aand tells there customer service people to say anything just make them get off chat line. There is never any sense of fairness or satisfaction. After spending close to 1000.00 I am ashamed of my stupidity and trust in that company. Send them a message to change or close shop. More...

  • Inferior Anne Klein coat



    I bought an Anne Klein jacket from Overstock.com hoping to replace my worn out Anne Klein jacket that I had purchased a while back at Burlington Coat Factory. My original was made in Indonesia. Overstock's was made in China. My original fur on the hood was real rabbit fur. Overstock's was fake plus it arrived with a hole in one pocket. The down content was the same but the outside shell was not. Overstock's product is definitely inferior and I'm not sure if it's a legitimate Anne Klein product. I won't buy from Overstock again.   • Poor Customer Service



    I ordered an item & noticed right away that the tracking was showing it as being shipped to the wrong state. Brought this to their attention. They did nothing to check into it, just assured me it was a tracking number issue (which it was not). So, I had to wait on this thing to be mailed across the country to the wrong state before they would listen to me & now have to wait another week for them to send a replacement. Turns out they typed my zip code wrong. Had they listened to me & corrected the problem right away, I wouldn't be waiting almost 20 days for my item. More...

  • Ripoff Return Policy



    I purchased a jacket from Overstock.com for $50.00 and it did not fit. I immediately returned the item in the original packaging and sent the item back on 12/22/08. I understood that shipping would be subtracted. I received and email on 01/09/09 informing me that they were refunding me a grand total of $20.45. Additionally, I was informed the item was not restockable due to HAIR; therefore the refund was reduced by $25.00 (50%). No other reason, just HAIR.
